Abstract
Some of my recent poems. They are melancholy, and many play on ideas about what is light and darkness and how they manifest themselves. Most of these poems are written based on my thoughts about some of life’s challenges and how they make me feel. “The days” is an example of this. Others, particularly “Lights” and “Dark”, are more idealogical in nature and I use them to explore what I think are prevailing cultural assumptions.
