Notes
From Berger Collection This exotic quartz crystal cluster was excavated in the jungles of Columbia, South America in the 1980s. This locality is known for some of the most spectacular sprays of needle quartz crystals in the world. Only a handful of museums pieces came out of the discovery because the mine was located in the midst of the rebel forces in Columbia and it became too difficult to continue mining. No significant crystals from this site have come out in over twenty years.
