Zuhl Geological Collection

Zuhl Geological Collection

Welcome

Part art gallery, part natural history museum, the Zuhl collection at NMSU showcases thousands of beautiful specimens of petrified wood, fossils and minerals.

Over 1,000 items are currently on display in the gallery and on the grounds of NMSU. Over 2000 items are cataloged in this database. The Zuhl Collection is an educational and aesthetic treasure and an invaluable addition to New Mexico State University and the community. The majority of the pieces can be viewed at the Zuhl Museum but don’t miss the displays in the Zuhl Library.

Printing is not supported at the primary Gallery Thumbnail page. Please first navigate to a specific Image before printing.
